Gold Teeth, Grillz and More Bling…

There are a couple of forms of gold teeth — full on removable gold teeth, crowns (you can also have gold fillings, but that’s not what we’re concentrating on here) or grillz (which appear to be a full set of gold teeth).

You may think that having gold in the mouth will be prone to damage, as gold is quite a soft metal, however the gold teeth are designed in such a way that damage is minimal if anything.

It is not permanent gold teeth you’re looking for, removable versions are available. This is more designed for cosmetic uses, commonly used on certain occasions. Buying a set of “grillz” usually means you have to get them custom-made to fit your teeth and the shape of your mouth. The caps are designed to easily slide over your teeth, allowing you to snap them on and off whenever you want. These type of teeth are made with 14, 18 and 22 carat gold, or even white gold (and sometimes silver).

You can also purchase regular premade Grillz that are supposed to fit anyone’s mouth. However, you may regret spending a lot of money on this type, especially if they find they don’t fit properly and look out of place. Therefore, it is recommended that you visit a specialist who can custom design new some gold teeth that will fit correctly.

There are a couple of websites available on the Internet which specialized in manufacturing and custom designing many types of gold teeth, even some with diamonds! All you need to do is visit the relevant websites and order what is known as a starter kit, which will be sent to you by posts and enable you to take an impression of the teeth in your mouth. After a mold has been taken, the kit is then returned to the designer, enabling them to make you the perfect set of Grillz (gold teeth).

Before you look any further into buying gold teeth – I’d recommend a visit to the Gold Teeth Blog – which will provide you with unbiased information before you make any decisions…
