How is the Retail Jewelry business doing in Michigan?

I use to live in michigan 18 years ago. We moved to california and now that I have children we are thinking to move back to Michigan. Yes I know Michigan isn’t what it use to be but it is a better place to raise a family then California.
I own a Retail Jewelry store in California. Does anyone know how the jewelry stores are doing in Michigan? Especially with gold prices so high. Is the slow economy effecting jewelry sales?
Should I look for another business? Any suggesstions? Thanks.

The wealthier suburbs you could possibly make it work but it work but it is very risky time to one of the wealthier suburbs you went to start business especially in retail guess if you could possibly make it.
The wealthier suburbs you went to one of the wealthier suburbs you could possibly make it work but it is affecting everything restaurants stores housing activities wouldnt suggest coming here to start business here to start business here is very risky time to start business here.
